  1. The Magistrate is to ensure the preservation of Space Law aboard the Station.
  2. The Magistrate presides over any Judicial Trials on the Station as the Judge, and provides the Final Verdict in accordance with the crimes and evidence provided for them.
  3. The Magistrate must keep a copy of all paperwork pertaining to trials either on hand or within their office, and must have a copy faxed to Central Command for recordkeeping.
  4. While the Magistrate works with the Head of Security, and are the authority on all manners pertaining to the law, they are not the Head of Security, and do not coordinate their forces.
  5. Should a member of the Command Staff or Central Command Personnel end up on trial, the Magistrate is expected to work with the Central Command Representative to determine a course of action. If the Central Command Representative is on trial, Central Command is to advise a course of action. Should Central Command be unavailable, the Magistrate is to use their best judgement for what would benefit the station and the company.
  6. Any sensitive documents found in the Magistrate's locker at the start of a shift are to be kept safe and secure at all times. It is the responsibility of the Magistrate alone to keep the documents secure. Should these documents go missing, Central Command is to be contacted at once.
